I must say there are few things in life that get me excited but knowing that people enjoy what I write warms my heart. I went through a quite horrible situation when I was younger that made me stop writing. It wasn't till this challenge that I started writing again and this traumatizing situation took place 11 years ago. I never expected I would have over 100 followers, on average 10 comments, and people gifting me items from the e-store. WOW, thank you so much for giving me the strength to write again!

THE GOOD AND THE BAD

 After two weeks of counseling, anti depressants, and woo hoo education classes Violet was given the thumbs up to return home. They had several different people who where assigned by the state to come watch the kids that where at home while Violet recovered. A.J. and Violet found an amazing lawyer who is confident they have a case that will make it EASY to get Violet's 84th child back. Violet named her little girl Chloe but if the foster mom is able to adopt her then her name will most likely be changed. 


A.J.- Barbie, are you ready to return home?
Violet- YES! I'm ready to get home, move, and get Chloe in my arms.
A.J.- Well we have our first court session on Thursday at 2:00pm. I hope that this is easy and that the foster mom doesn't put up a fight for adoption.
Violet- I know... but Chloe is worth fighting for.

 A.J. and Violet signed release forms and packed all of their items. Violet collected the cards that where sent her way. She would also like to thank - Ashby Starr, Della A Wriner, Della E. Wriner, Dawn Turner, Vanessa Wood, Asher Lemi, and several others who stopped by and visited her while she was in the hospital! 


After getting things ready to go they both knew it would be late before getting home but that would be a pleasant surprise for the kids to wake up with Violet home.

A.J. and Violet found out that their love for each other was much deeper than they ever thought possible. They are so excited to get started planning the wedding but also have so many other things on their plate to keep them busy till then. 


The drive home didn't feel long at all but after pulling up in front of the house Violet was moved to tears thinking that Chloe wasn't home.

 A.J.- We will win this fight... Chloe deserves her mom. 
Violet- I know, but I can't help but think what she looks like, and if she feels loved. No one could love her like I do.
A.J.- Held his fiancée closely as the sun began to set. 

Back inside the house Lacey was getting nervous. She felt it would have been better for her not to be there when Violet got home. You see the state assigned her as the foster mom for Chloe or as she calls her Asia. At the time of being informed of her being the foster mom Lacey had no idea it was Violet's daughter. But she instantly fell in love with Asia (Chloe) and is more than happy to have her as her own. Violet just has to sign her rights away and Asia is her's.

 Lacey heard car doors and knew that The baby was still sleeping. She wanted to get out before Violet could figure out that the baby was her's. "Oh Asia, mommy loves you so much." Lacey whispered in the infants ear. Just then the front door closed and it made Lacey jump. 

 Walking out of the nursery she startled Violet. "Hi Violet are you feeling better now?" She asked politely. "Yes, I am thank you. I hope to..." Violet stopped when her eyes latched on to the baby that Lacey was holding. Violet gasped, "Is that my baby? Is that Chloe?" Violet began to reach her arms out to hold the child she was sure was her's. Lacey didn't know what to say so she lied. "Well this little girl is Asia. She was placed in foster care. I'm hoping to get full custody of her."

Violet- Oh how silly of me. I'm glad that Asia has found a great foster mom. I would love to hold her but I want the next baby that's placed in my arms to be my little Chloe.
Lacey- Well I'm sure that someday she will be in your arms. But you know once kids get placed in the system its hard to get them out. You DID attempt suicide with 4 young kids in the house and pregnant. our case doesn't look that good.
Violet- Well I don't think I would have attempted suicide. I just wish I remembered what happened seconds before falling. I know that my doctors ran SEVERAL tests on me to see if there would be anything to explain the pain I've been having. If nothing is found then yes, getting Chloe back will be next to impossible.

 Lacey- I would wish you luck but in this situation you need fact more so than luck. I'm sure that Chloe is in a WONDERFUL home where she will find all the love she needs.
Violet- Well I agree with that to a point. I know that no one could love her like I love her.

 While the two girls where going back and forth discussing the same child as if it where two different people A.J. brought in the suit cases from the car. He also decided to pop online and check out how many new house requests Violet and him had. 


Violet called to A.J. "I'm going to take a quick bath then head to bed." A.J. called back "OK!" knowing that all pills and toxic chemicals have been removed.

Lacey knew she had a little time while Violet took her bath to talk to A.J. quickly.


Lacey- A.J., how many house requests do you have?
A.J.- Well I have 3 and 1 pending. I'm going to have my hands full with Violet's challenge, custody battle, business, and planning the wedding. I'm not sure when these requests will be met.
Lacey- Well you are an amazing guy I'm sure that you will figure it out.
A.J.- You aren't fooling me Lacey so you can cut the crap and take Chloe to your house.
Lacey- What do you mean Chloe?
A.J.- You think I'm dumb? I know that the last guy Violet was with was black. I also know that their where only 4 babies born around the same time as Chloe and all where white. I know that your Asia is OUR Chloe. You will loose her I hope you know that our case is strong and getting stronger.
Lacey- Well I'm not going to say anything other than this... Violet will never understand how close her baby was to dieing because of her selfless acts and stupidity. 
A.J.- We will see you in court...

Lacey took Chloe and left. A.J. wanted to protect Violet till the morning. He would then tell her everything about how Lacey has their Chloe. After tucking Violet in he headed out to the living room to work. Nothing made him feel better than knowing that Violet and him would be married soon but not soon enough.

When morning rolled around Violet was feeling pretty good. She knew that there was so much going on right now in her life that it was enough to make anyone think they where about to loose their mind. Violet felt bad that she never got a family photo with Chloe as an infant but knew that a family photo STILL needed to be taken. Changing her look a little she decided that before anyone aged up A.J. could take the picture.


A.J.- Good morning Barbie, WOW...
Violet- What?
A.J.- You look GREAT! You look like you're feeling better too. 
Violet- I am feeling better. I wish that things were less crazy and more "normal" but this is my life we are talking about.
A.J.- Well that's a good point. I hope that you are still feeling up to getting married and taking on everything else on our plate.
Violet- Yes, I'm more than ready. Speaking of everything that's on our plate. Could you PLEASE take a current family photo of me and my boys? I wish Chloe could be in it too but I have no idea HOW to get ahold of the her foster mom.
A.J.- I do... you won't believe this but, Lacey has her. That little girl last night. That's our Chloe.
Violet- THAT BITCH... Why did she lie to me. How horrible can she be not letting me...
A.J.- Barbie, don't go there. You are better than that. I will call Lacey and ask her nicely if we could have her and Chloe come over so we can get a picture. Then she can take her back into her care and we will see her next in court on THURSDAY... that's not very long and we need to get with out lawyer. 

Violet was happy having A.J. there by her side. Not knowing what all was going to be happening soon it was comforting to know that he was by her side for good. A.J. called Lacey but when she answered he couldn't even say hello.

Lacey- Sorry A.J. I've been instructed to not talk to you till after the court hearing. 

She hung up before A.J. could respond. After he told Violet what happened she shrugged her shoulders and said, "Well Chloe is MY baby and when we get her back we will get the family photo we want with her. My life and challenge will go as planned no matter what." Violet then called the kids. It was weird having only 4 kids in the family photo. A.J. was now a member of the household so the number of kids allowed (by sims law) was going to be lower with only 8 member's allowed in each house. 

With only 2 days till they where in court Violet and A.J. had their Lawyer come over that day to start building their case. Nila Quain was who A.J. found to be the best person to have on their side on this case. She was in contact with the hospital and the moment they got Violet's medical test results back they would then know just what would have made her over dose on pain medicine. Even if everything was clean Nila was sure she could still build a good case for Violet. Getting her friends, challenge dad's, and even member's of the community in on this to write statements about Violet and how she is as a mother was also something that Nila felt would HELP Violet get her daughter back.

Violet was nervous getting the house in order before Nila was going to be visiting. She was still having headaches but was using only the medicine her doctor prescribed her and she had to take the medicine with someone in the room with her. 


Seeing A.J. interact with the kids made Violet think about the life they where going to have together. She couldn't wait to get excited about the her life after the challenge but for now the tack at hand was finding a new dad for her challenge, getting Chloe back, and getting the house requests done. Getting lost in thought Violet was brought back to reality when the door bell rang.

Violet answered the door right as Nila was hanging up her phone. 


Nila (the lawyer)- Hi Violet, I'm Nila and A.J. contacted me about your case. It looks like I'm getting a good case built but there are a few holes that I need to fill before taking this to court.
Violet- That sounds great, would you like anything to drink?
Nila- Coffee would be fine thank you.


Nila was organized and was well put together. She looked as if she just got out of court but still focused on the case at hand. Violet showed her around the house and then went to the kitchen to wait for Nila to use the rest room.

Violet- A.J. she seems nice but so young, you think that we should find some one more experienced?
A.J.- Nila is great and yes she might be young and new but she has energy and passion. Something some of the "older" lawyers don't have. We want to win this case we need the best.
Violet- I trust your opinion but...
Nila- Your house is lovely, and put together nicely. You would never guess you have kids coming and going constantly. You have plenty of room for little Chloe and that's helps to make a good case.

The 3 talked and discussed the case of State Vs Newbie. Nila handed Violet a list of things that would help her case and a list of things that would hurt. One thing that would hurt the case is continuing her challenge at the moment. Violet shook her head, "Are you serious? I love my kids and love having kids. I would really like to continue my challenge." Violet explained. Nila flipped through the file and then pulled out a slip of paper. "Violet, this is a letter from the state saying that if you where to have anymore kids before regaining parental rights of your daughter who is currently in the system. You will get that child taken away and then you will have TWO custody battles. The more kids you have in the system the harder it is to win your cases." 

Violet and A.J. agreed that it would be best to put the challenge on hold for now. Nila then stated that Chloe was now a toddler and if they would like a picture she had one. Violet's face lit up and  started to smile. "Yes, I would love to see my daughter."

Violet started to cry when looking at her little girl's picture. Her facial features where exquisite. She was wearing purple and that made Violet smile since that was her favorite color and name. She asked Nila if there was any way that she could see her in person and Nila nodded her head no. "I'm sorry Violet but this case is going to resolved quickly and the state is sure that they are going to win. They don't want to confuse Chloe with going back and forth only to have her stay with her foster mom. Her foster mom is prepared to adopt Chloe."


Violet stood up and put the picture down. "Why is everyone treating me as if I'm the worlds worst mom. Are my test results back from the hospital? I have had shooting pains in my head. I wasn't thinking and took to many of the wrong pills. I didn't try to kill myself or my baby. This is insane." She sat back down and wiped the tears away quickly.


Nila- Violet, Your doctor said that the results should be in Thursday. It was going to take several weeks since there where so many tests done. I believe you that you didn't attempt suicide and that there is something else that is wrong and let you to over dose. Its just finding out what that is. You have got to be strong and when the state's Lawyer comes at you with hurtful statements and harsh words YOU have to remain calm... For Chloe and your other kids. 

Ryker came into the room and surprised the 3 adults. "Hey A.J., do you want to take me fishing?" A.J. smiled and said "of course I would!" The two of them collected their supplies and headed to the beach. Violet went off to work on Chloe's lullaby.

Nila headed over to the house hold computer to work on other things for their case. Violet admired how dedicated Nila was on this case. She acted as if this was her only case and the most important thing to her. Nila worked on a witness list, e-mailing Violet's friends and family for written or video statements, and even found out who the state was going to use as their Lawyer. 

Raymond was focused on painting. Violet had stated how she was wanting a few more paintings to hang in some of the other rooms. He wanted to help her out with that and even though he wasn't the best artist he was doing the best he could.

 Tiny hands, Tiny Feet, A tiny heart that beats. A song from me to you, my little dream come true.

You will never know how much I love you, Chloe... 

The words where flowing with the sound of Violet's guitar like waves in the ocean. It was a perfect song for Chloe. Violet then realized that Chloe may never hear it and decided to focus on something else. 

Violet then laughed when she thought of her friends not knowing about the engagement. She already updated her facebook status but had yet to call anyone. Ashby was #1 on her list of friends to tell. 


Violet- Hey Ashby... I'm going to be Mrs. Lemi!!!!
Ashby- I KNOW!!! A.J. told me in the hospital when I was there with you that he was still planning on proposing. He felt bad that he wouldn't have a ring for you since he...
Violet- WAIT, he was going to give me a ring? I never got a ring.
Ashby- Well if you let me finish silly i will explain to you WHY you don't have a ring.
BOTH GIRLS LAUGHED
Ashby- He returned the ring when he thought you two where broken up. Then when in the hospital he hardly left so he could never go back and get it. I offered to buy it but he said it wouldn't have felt right. 
Violet- Awww he's such a sweet heart. I don't mind that I don't have a ring. I would rather not have one till I was done with my challenge anyway.


The two girls then started to talk about the wedding details. Violet got excited knowing that she was going to be able to start planning now so that after her challenge was finished she could then not worry about planning in such short notice. Ashby got excited thinking about wedding dress shopping, bridal shower, bachelorette party, and of course THE WEDDING!

The next two days where hard on A.J. and Violet. Going through mixed emotions and even second guessing the case they thought was bullet proof. Nila put in 19 hour days to get the case as perfect. When Thursday came EVERYONE was on an emotional high. To make matter's worse the doctor had yet to get Violet's test results to them. This made everyone nervous....

THURSDAY

The last few days couldn't have gone any slower. Nila was informed that this will be a PRIVATE hearing and the only people allowed in the room are the people who are involved. A.J. stayed back with the kids and Violet was informed my her friends to let them know ASAP how things went.

Violet's sister (Sarah) let Violet borrow one of her dresses. Violet admired herself as she practiced her wording for any questions that she might be asked.


Q: What do you remember happening on the night of Tuesday May 10, 2011?
A: I was in so much pain all I can really remember is the pain in my head. I had both pills out on the counter and I took the wrong one. 


Q: What are you doing now differently to prevent this from happening again?
A: My Fiance has moved in with me and will be with me when I take my medicine.


The questions seemed fairly easy to answer, for now, but the hard part was when the judge would be asking the questions and Violet's fear will be showing.

Raymond and Ryker where more than happy to have been home from school today. But they still had to take a few tests at school so Violet's sister Zoey was going to take them. Violet really has been enjoying her family living in Sunset Valley and not in Riverview. 


Phillip and Preston wanted to stay home and get the house cleaned up for Chloe to come home. They kept saying that she would be here no matter what but Violet wasn't to sure. The case against her was strong. 

The time came and Nila picked Violet up for court. Violet was shaking and couldn't stop thinking that she could quite possibly never see her daughter in person. Nila leaned over to Violet and said, "Violet, everything is going to be fine." 


Violet shared a half smile and then looked around the room they where seated in. Violet had never been in a court room like this before. It was set up like an office and there where no jury seating or seating for people to watch. Violet said a quick prayer as the judge walked in with the court room. And the State's Lawyer was right after her. After sitting down she called Nila and the state's lawyer up to her desk.

 I have recieved both of your statements and those of your witnesses to how Violet is as a mother. I also have Miss. Newbie's medical results and went over them with her doctors to help me understand what I was looking at. I will now address Violet and give my verdict.


Nila and The other Lawyer stood confused and returned to their seats. Nila leaned over to Violet and explained what the judge just told her.

Judge- Violet you have quite the support team. I have heard many good things about how you are as a person, a mother, and a friend. However the situation that took place not only questions your actions while children are around but your actions while pregnant. I spoke to a Ashely Lemi and he told me that when he found you there where two sets of pain medicine on the counter. No one saw how many pills you took until your stomach was pumped. But we did see that the other bottle had only a few pills missing.

Putting all the pieces together I knew that this was all a matter of finding out what really happened that night. I talked to your doctor and he gave me the results to the tests they ran on you. I also know that you are seeking out counseling, you have someone with you at all times and pain pills are under lock and key. These are all events that take place when someone attempts suicide. HOWEVER I do believe that in your case you did not attempt suicide but you where not thinking clearly do to your medical condition. With that said you are rewarded your daughter back and you will still be attending the classes that the state has recommended for you. I also want you to see your doctor in the next week to go over your test results so that you can be put on proper medication for your health needs.

Violet was about to cheer when she realized that something was wrong with her. Something that made her take to many pain pills. Nila turned to Violet and congratulated her. Violet nodded and asked, "Where's Chloe?" The judge handed Nila a note saying that Chloe was in room 12 and waiting for her mom. Violet didn't wait to long and was off to find room 12.


It took her a little while and then finally she saw
ROOM 12- Toddler

 Violet looked at her daughter playing all by herself. A two sided mirror showed that someone was watching her but still to be so young and alone broke Violet's heart. Violet walked up to her daughter and picked her up. She startled Chloe but she never cried.

 Violet- Hi Chloe I'm your mommy
Chloe just looked at Violet in wonder. She didn't say a word.
Violet- I love your bow, lilac is my favorite color!
Chloe- Purple


Violet smiled- Purple? yes your bow is more purple. You ready to go home?
Chloe pointed to her chest- Asia... me Asia


Violet hugged her daughter close again and a tear fell slowly down her cheek. "You are my Chloe, I love you so much!"

 Violet had paper work to fill out and took Chloe out to McDonalds since she had missed so much time with her. They where at the park for about an hour then headed home. A.J. was at the front door waiting for them.
A.J- Look at my pretty girls.
Chloe giggled- Hi
Violet- Isn't she a gem? She's so smart A.J. She's pointing at everything and telling me what they are. She's confused about her name I guess she's been called Asia in foster care but we will get her used to her real name soon. She loves purple too. I'm just so happy to have her home.
A.J.- As am I, Violet I'm so happy to have you both home and so are they...

Violet walked in the house to the boys cheering. The house looked great and Violet was so happy to be home. A.J. then told Violet that he had invited several people over to help celebrate. Violet wanted to tell A.J. that there might be some bad news with all this good news but looking at him and how excited he was. She couldn't do it. She had a week till she had to see her doctor and so it couldn't be THAT serious. She planned to just wait and enjoy Chloe and her boys.

Violet then turned around to find a bunch of people coming up the front steps. they all where so happy for Violet and Chloe. A.J. then smiled at Violet and pointed to inside the house! Violet turned again to see a tall, tan, blue eyed, blonde hair handsome guy. He looked at Violet in SHOCK.

"You are HOT!" he said trying not to blush.
Violet- And you are?
Jason- I'm Stine... Jason Stine! 


Violet and Jason talked for a little bit and Violet then realized that Jason was wanting to take part in her challenge. Violet told him that she will not woo hoo with him and is going to be using IVF for the remainder of her challenge. It just makes Violet feel better with being engaged to A.J. and staying true to him. She also has to be on bed rest during her pregnancy's because of the c-section they performed on her. Jason was fine with everything and agreed that he would meet her at the hospital in the morning.

Not really wanting to spend the money on a buffet table Violet whipped up some party snacks. While Chloe played close by. Violet didn't like letting Chloe out of her sight for 2 reasons. The first reason being that she didn't get any time with her when she was an infant and second she couldn't believe that Chloe was actually home. But in the back of her mind she kept thinking about going to the doctor to find out what was wrong with her. Violet could only think of one thing... MIGRAINES. That has GOT to be what is wrong with her and for the sensitivity to light and sound. 

Asher- Hey bro how are things going? I hear Congrats is in order!
A.J.- Yeah, I can't believe Violet and I are going be married.
Asher- You picked a date yet?
A.J.- We have a few ideas in mind but nothing set in stone just yet. We know for sure we would like the challenge to be done and then spend time just the two of us. Most likely in July, August, or September of this year. We are in no big hurry.


Asher- Hey did I tell you about this? I got a letter from Bren Starr Bright (Ashby's Daughter)


Dear Goddad Asher,
I am writting to you to let you know that Heavenly and I have become teenagers. We had a nice private party, but I was a little bummed that you were unable to make it. However, I understand that you needed to be there for A.J.
I can't wait to see you again Asher. I know mom misses you too. With all the stuff that has happened lately I know she could use your or aunt Vi's shoulder to lean on, but since she and aunt Vi are having a disagreement right now I know it would be great for her to hear from you.
Well I have to go for now.

Hi Godmum Vi,
I know it has been a long time since my last letter, and I am sorry for that. I will try to be better at keeping in touch, but now that I am a YA life may take on a new course for me. My ambition in life is to live the lifestyle of the rich and famous, so I may be busy out hobnobbing with the local celebs.
I wanted to tell you that Quinn and I just became YA's and we have moved out of mom's house. Quinn got a job in the science field and I havn't decided what I am going to do yet.

Asher- Wow, Newbie looks like his mom too
Both brother's laughed and headed inside to enjoy some of Violet's treats.

Violet (lost in thought) was in the kitchen serving her guests when Ashby called her name. She headed over to her good friend and was in need of some girl friend time!

Ashby- So girl your life has really just turned completely around (for the better of course)!
Violet- Well kinda, I want to be excited to have Chloe and even be engaged to A.J. but in the back of my mind I know that I have something medically wrong with me.
Ashby- Have you seen the doctor yet?
Violet- No, but tomorrow I'm going in for an IVF treatment for baby 85 and I could make an appointment then.
Ashby- Well that's good. Let me know how it goes! SOOO now to the engagement part. When is the big day? 
Violet- Well, I think either July or August of this year. I'm just not sure where life is going to take us after this challenge. We might move, travel, or even start a family sooner. We have so much life to live together we don't want to feel rushed.
Ashby- Well I understand that! Newbie told me he sent you a letter. Did you get it?
Violet- YES, and wow I just love that guy. He's such a sweet heart and I hope he visits soon!

Violet- Ashby, I know that all the wedding stuff isn't going to be happening right away but I wanted to ask you... Will you be my maid of honor?
Ashby- Of course I will. I'm so happy you asked me!
Violet- We plan to have a small wedding and I'm only going to have 5 bridesmaids. I'm feeling horrible picking between my friends, daughters, and sisters but I hope that everyone understand that I don't want a huge deal.
Ashby- Everyone who knows you, knows that you are a simple person. I'm sure some feelings will be hurt but in the end of the day its about you and A.J.


Most of the guests cleared out and Jason was waiting to talk to Violet.

They double checked on their plans to meet at the hospital for their IVF treatment. 
Jason then whispered in Violet's ear... "see you then hottie"
Chills went up Violet's spine. That was SO not sexy of him and she had no emotional connection to him. He was cute but kinda stuck up. She didn't mind not woo hooing with him.

Violet stared at Chloe as she slept so soundly. Violet cherished the fact she was given a 2nd chance. A.J. came up behind Violet and asked if she was coming to bed. Violet nodded an they left the room.

Early the next morning Violet headed to the hospital and to her surprise her main Doctor was waiting for her. "Violet I know you are here for you IVF treatment but I REALLY need to speak with you. You need to know what is going on in your body. And I think you should know before you do your treatment." Her doctor  explained as she got signed in. She agreed and headed back to talk to him.


Violet was SHOCKED to find out what was wrong and shook her head no. "No, no way... this has to be a mistake." She said beginning to cry. "Violet, I wish I had better news for you but this is the truth and this is the proof. When do you want to start treatments?" her Doctor asked. "I'm not going to... I'm fine its just a migraine." she said getting her stuff ready to go for her IVF treatment. "VIOLET STOP. This is serious and this is real. I wish we could change it, but running away will only make it worse." Violet paused in her tracks... "Fine, I will start treatments after my challenge. I have to finish my challenge." she said walking out of the room.

Violet decided to enjoy a bath after she got home. The news was weighing heavy on her mind and she debated even telling A.J. yet. Knowing she wasn't suppose to be left alone for long periods of time she went to tell A.J. that she was taking a bath but when she found him fast asleep she figured why bother him. A quick bath wouldn't hurt her. She loved relaxing and knowing that, at the moment, all was good in the world. She went to rinse her hair and was having a hard time. She then realized maybe it was time to purchase a shower.

Violet was humming when A.J. spoke up... "Why didn't you get me?" Violet jumped and let out a little scream. Catching her breath she replied with, "SHIT A.J. you scared the crap out of me. I didn't want to wake you and I'm not going to attempt suicide so I figured why not take a quick bath." A.J. smiled and Violet splashed him with the water. He then got out a water gun off the counter and the two had a water fight right there in the bathroom.

A.J. left Violet alone so she could get dressed and then he came back in to help clean the bathroom form their water fight. 
A.J.- I just love you so much Barbie, I don't want to loose you.
Violet- I know... and I love you too!


Violet wanted to tell A.J. what was wrong but after he said he didn't want to loose her she realized maybe its best she not tell him yet. They began to discuss a few things dealing with business. Violet explained to A.J. that she had the color pallet done for Vanessa Wood's new house. She loved thinking that another challenge mom was going to be living in an A&V original.


A.J.- OH and I want to take Chloe to the park while the boys are at school. You need some "alone time" and  I want you to not feel like I'm baby sitting you. I trust that you won't do anything STUPID and I will be back soon. If you need anything CALL ME.

A.J. loved spending time with Violet's kids. They really felt like they where his too. He kept picturing life with jut him and Violet after the challenge. The two of them with no one or anything to answer to. 


Chloe snapped A.J. back to reality by showing off how smart she was. Pointing and naming different items in the park. 

Violet tried to enjoy gardening but the news was weighing heavy on her shoulders. 


Violet was whispering to herself trying to make since of the horrible news she was told. "A tumor? I have a tumor in my brain. How am I going to tell A.J.? What if I don't make it through surgery?" Her mind raced. She couldn't grasp the fact that she had a tumor the size of a grape in her brain. It was putting enough pressure to give her the symptoms of a migraine but the pain was much worse. It did make since that she didn't attempt suicide and her mind was simply altered on what she needed to do. 

 Everyone showed up at the house around the same time. Chloe is quite the favorite around the house and everyone wants to spend time with her. The attention she gets here is much different than the attention she got form her single foster mom. Violet loved seeing her boys interact with Chloe and knowing that the IVF worked and a new baby would be in the house soon got the house excited for another little one!

 Violet enjoyed staying busy with Chloe before she started showing and would be put on bed rest. Chloe was catching on that her name was Chloe and not Asia. She also was saying 6-7 word sentences and that marveled her Doctors. They all agreed that she was a very bright little girl.

Phillip was the KING of CLEAN. He was always picking up after everyone else and making sure the house was spotless. A.J. even started taking a few notes on how to make natural cleaners so that you didn't fill your house with harmful chemicals. Phillip wan an environmentalist and was VERY eco friendly. He was constantly re using things around the house to save money and resources.

Well the moment came and Violet began to show! She was excited and nervous at the same time. She knew that this pregnancy would be unlike the rest since A.J. was going to be Mr. Mom around that house till she delivered.

 Do you think mom would let us age up early? Ryker and Raymond where wanting to age up quickly because they wanted to move out with their older brothers. Violet didn't mind as much as she used to knowing that the sooner they aged up and out the sooner she could finish her challenge and get rid of this nasty tumor. She just told the boys to wait till after she had the baby and took a family photo. Then they could age up, get their grades up to at least A- and then move out with Phillip and Preston.

Chloe on the other hand even though she was smart she was happy as a toddler. A.J. was very good to take picture of her all the time to show Violet while she's stuck in bed. He also planned to video tape things for her as well. Chloe and A.J. got along perfectly.

 Violet quickly called A.J. and Chloe to the living room. She had a surprise.

 Before resting Violet wanted to play Chloe the songs she wrote her. Chloe LOVED the songs and danced while Violet played. Violet could tell that Chloe had a true love for music. 

Violet was then tired and decided to take a nap. 
A.J. was now Mr. Mom till Violet's pregnancy was over.

A.J.- Chloe what are you looking for?
Chloe- STUFF!
A.J.- What kind of stuff?
Chloe- Girl stuff! 


A.J. Laughed at Chloe and then helped her out of the toy box. They played cars, Barbies, and read a few books. A.J. realized in that moment just how badly he wanted to have a child with Violet. He was even willing to have one NOW but knew that Violet wanted to wait till they where married.

A.J. was taking quite well to the responsibilities of the house. Laundry, gardening, repairs, and keeping the kids happy are all just small parts to this job. He really began to admire Violet allot more after just being Mr. Mom for a day.

 Chloe called A.J. into the "girl's room" and asked for him to tell her a princess story. A.J. was puzzled and told her he didn't know any. Chloe smiled and said "Mommy the princess you the prince." A.J. laughed and sat down...

Once apon a time, there was a beautiful princess named Violet. She longed for love but never seemed to be able to find it till one day the VERY handsome Prince Ashley James Lemi came to town and swept the princess off her feet.

A.J. tried hard to not force the story and to keep little Chloe excited. He then got REALLY into the story and little Chloe had fallen asleep. He kissed her forehead and placed her gently in bed.

A.J. then listened in to Ryker singing "I've been working on the railroad" looking at the clock Ryker had been in the tub for 20 minutes and the other boys still had to get ready for bed themselves. A.J. knocked on the door and hollered in a kind tone, "Ryker, I bet your clean now. How about you let your brother's in so THEY don't stink up the room while you’re trying to sleep." It took Ryker 3 minutes to dry off, get dressed, and brush his teeth.

The boys where not used to having a guy around the house but really liked A.J.

Soon after the boys where all in bed and sleeping A.J. slid into bed next to Violet. There was a book that he saw under her pillow. He went to put it into her night stand when she popped her eyes open. "A.J. NO DON'T." she shouted with fear in her tone. "Barbie, you really know how fake being asleep." A.J. said kissing her cheek.

Violet- No, I'm just a light sleeper and you woke me up when you hollered at Ryker. You really did a good job handling that situation. Thanks for being so understanding and patient with me and the kids.

A.J.- You AND your kids are worth it. I can’t think of any place I would rather be than right here with you.

Violet- Sorry I freaked out about you touching my book. I’m just so used to sleeping with it under my head I’m not sure I would be able to sleep without it there.

A.J.- I get it, and I’m glad you told me now and not later. I would have felt bad if I moved it. You want to know something I can’t sleep with?

Violet- oooo secrets! Do share Mr. Fiancé.

A.J.- I can’t sleep unless, I’m next to you.

The two talked about different things when they heard a widow shut. Violet and A.J. both where concerned and A.J. told Violet he was going to lock ALL the doors and check on the kids. It didn’t take him long to see what made the noise. Walking down the sidewalk was one of Violet boys. He couldn’t tell if it was Preston or Phillip but he decided to follow him and see what he was up to.

A.J. followed him all the way to the school. A.J. was then able to see that it was Preston. He waited in his car to see if he was waiting for anyone but not one else came. Instead he noticed that Preston was writing something on the playground equipment.

A.J.- Hey son what are you doing up there? A.J. asked walking up to Preston.

Preston- You a cop sir?

A.J.-  No, it’s me A.J.

Preston- Oh hey man! Didn’t know you followed me. I’m just writing some music. I like coming here it inspires me.

A.J.- This is an odd place to inspire someone.

Preston- Well to some yes but to me no, you see I want to write songs for kids. My brother laughed at me and told me that I was gay. I’ve got no problems with people who are gay but I’m not and so I decided to just keep this to myself.

A.J.- Well you hang out here as late as you need and know that if the cops find you I will “lecture” you and then help you find a better spot to write your songs.

A.J. left feeling proud that Preston was STILL interested in writing songs even after his brother made him feel bad about it.

-=-The next morning-=-  

Violet knew that she was to be on STICKT bed rest. She also knew that her tumor could be growing with each passing day, week, and month. A.J. still didn't know and she was trying to think of a good way/time to tell him. She called everyone into the living room for a family photo. She had yet to get one since Chloe had been home and it was well over do.

Violet didn't get a chance to label this family photo but she will do that before saving it to her family photo album. Being so close to delivering Violet and the boys started to talk about names. They each picked one and then they put them in a hat and Chloe would get to pick 1 name out of the hat. Violet was happy to announce that it was a girl so all names needed to be girl names.

A.J. picked Lavender

Violet picked Minda

Phillip picked Kilee

Preston picked Tamera

Ryker picked Gracie

Raymond picked Samantha

Chloe picked Apple

After the picture was taken everyone scattered from the living room except Violet, Phillip, Preston, and Raymond. Preston and Phillip started to discuss moving out now, and not waiting for Ryker and Raymond.

Raymond didn’t like what he was hearing. Him and his brother already had A’s and could age up at any time. He then walked over to his brother’s to explain they just have to wait a little while longer and they could all go to school get their grades up and move out.

Phillip and Preston where silent as their brother approached them to express his feelings. Knowing that they ALL had a bit of time to get their grades up as teenagers made Raymond question why they felt the need to rush and age up badly.

Phillip slightly upset then told Raymond “Listen you have till WE get our grades up. You have a C and we have B’s so guess you better get cracking on your grades before we do.” With that said he walked away and worked on his homework.

Ryker was happy to have aged up as well while attending the free game his coach gave all the hockey players. They all have to take notes on the home teams advantages and weaknesses.

A.J. had to leave quickly to set up an appointment for him and Violet to get some pictures taken of them once she had the baby. Raymond was more than happy to help out around the house while A.J. was gone. "When is mom going to have the baby?" asked Raymond. "We can't be to sure on that but she's getting bigger and bigger. Should be any day now!" replied A.J. This information made Raymond a little nervous to be left alone but he did have A.J's # in case Violet went into labor.

 While A.J. and Raymond where talking Violet got a phone call from her doctor. He didn't want Violet to wait to much longer to have her tumor removed. Violet whispered while talking on the phone so no one could hear her, "Yes I understand its urgent but I will get in when I get in. My fiance still doesn't know yet and I'm pregnant from now till I have 101 kids." Violet said glancing back at the guys to make sure they where still talking. The doctor still insisted Violet make an appointment soon so that they could check the size again and see if it had gotten any bigger. Violet agreed and hung up the phone.

 Violet and A.J. (while talking last night) decided on a wedding date and a few other wedding things. So it was no surprise to Violet when A.J. told her that he was meeting up with Stacia (Violet's 34th child) to get an appointment to have their pictures taken. 

A.J.- Barbie, I love you. 

Violet- and I love you handsome.

A.J.- Does it bother you that I still call you Barbie?

Violet- NO WAY, I LOVE the pet name you have for me. No one else can call me Barbie but you!

With a heartfelt kiss and hug A.J. headed out to set up a time for their photo shoot.
Violet headed to bed.

But not long after getting comfortable her water broke and contractions started. The pain went from 4-10 in a matter of minutes. This baby was NOT going to wait much longer. 

After an hour of contractions and 3 pushes....

Gracie Michelle Newbie

Gracie was a gem. Violet loved looking at her and couldn't wait to tell Chloe that her little sister and soon to be playmate was here. Chloe wanted to wait to grow up with her sister because she would always say "Baby sister is my bestest friend!" so Violet felt it best to keep them close in age and even let them age up together as if they where twins.

Violet couldn't wait to get dressed up and ready for a family photo so she had Raymond call A.J. home and he brought along one of Stacia's partner's to take their pictures. Stacia wanted to be the one to take the family photo and a few couple shots but she had an appointment already.

It didn't take long for the 8 members of the Newbie household to gather for a picture. They where ALL excited about Gracie joining the family and Ryker was REALLY excited when he found out that she was named Gracie!

After a little while the boys changed into some comfy clothes knowing that Monday was around the corner and there would be NO SCHOOL since it was memorial day. Preston teased Raymond, "You might have game smarts but your going to need book smarts to get A's before or at the same time as me and Phillip." Preston said in a matter a fact manor. "Just wait, Ryker and I WILL and then you and Phillip will be happy to have us move out along with you and you WILL get over it." Raymond returned to his game of chess.

Violet snuggled her newest bundle of joy and then realized she needed to age her and the older boys up SOON or she wouldn't be able to finish her challenge before having surgery. Violet hesitated for a moment and then set Gracie down to age up. A tear fell as Gracie changed from a baby to a toddler.

Gracie as adorable, she had a green tint in her hair that was NOTHING like Violet or Jason. Gracie had Violet's green eyes but her dad's skin tone. Chloe got VERY excited when she saw her sister was a toddler just like her. Violet called the school and asked if the boys could pop in to work on their grades on Monday even though school was out. A few of their teachers agreed and so the boys would only have 2-3 classes on Monday Vs the regular 7 classes they would normally have. The younger boys would have a half day as well.

 The photo shoot went GREAT, Violet and A.J. where quick to decide what they liked and didn't like. These three pictures where some they liked but not their favorites. They decided on 3 pictures and made their wedding invitations. Knowing that time and place COULD change they decided to mainly put the time and date. They also have their wedding party set up, and are working on a good place to get married since the church Violet's parents where married in burned down last year.


Violet knew that the time was going to be here sooner than later when she would have to break the news to A.J. that she had a brain tumor and would need surgery to have it removed PROMPTLY after her challenge is finished. She wondered if she would EVER see her wedding day...

I can't tell you how relieved I am to FINALLY get this post out. After several problems with blogger, sims, and personal life here it is!
