Baby 37

Thank you  BethanySue for gifting me with the  Secure Sneakers!
~They will be seen in this blog~

After having our family photo the phone rang and for some reason I knew what it was going to be about. My lawyer was on the other end and told me that Andy was granted full custody of Mollie. I was sad and relieved all at the same time. I wanted Mollie back at home but I knew that she would be unhappy. Mollie was also due any day now and I knew that once she had the baby she would have a whole new outlook on life, or so I hoped. I must say that when Andy called was when I got really emotional.
Andy- Violet I'm so sorry that things turned out this way. You are a great mom and I think that your doing a great job but Mollie is happier with me and isn't that what really matters?

I began to think to myself and realized he was right. I couldn't force Mollie to be happy here with me and her siblings but I felt she needed a more responsible parent or even role model in her life. Mollie then got on the phone.

Mollie- Mom, I think I want to keep the baby. I'm really excited and think its going to be great. I'm going to be having it soon and I hope to give you a phone call first thing! I'm sorry things went this way but you know what you had this coming. Life isn't perfect and I'm tired of you sugar coating everything and then when things don't go your way you blame everyone else is out to get you. I'm just tired of trying to be something I'm not.

With that she hung up and I knew that the chances of me ever talking to her again would be quite slim. I tired hard to forget the pain of loosing her (in a way) and keep going on but something was pulling at me and I wasn't quite sure what it was.

I treasured the moment with the little ones before seeing them age up. Its one of the hardest things and most exciting things that happens. I miss the little firsts and giggles but I also enjoy watching them grow and mature into young adults and then see how life treats them out side of the house. I prayed with each child before seeing them off to the next stage of life.
Aleah grew up into a beautiful teenager who was a good mix between gothic and hip. I didn't mind because I wore gothic looking clothes while I was a teen so it was kind of like a mother daughter type of thing! But Aleah is a great student and is very focused on her studies. I know that in the challenge rules teens are not to work but after begging for several hours I gave into her and allowed her to get a part time job. I didn't think her little pay check would do much to the household funds. She has beautiful brown eyes and hair.

Angel on the other hand was a smart kid who didn't care. I didn't realize how bad it was till I got a phone call from his counselor at school telling me that hes failing school and has hardly any social skills. I feel bad for him because he's the only boy in the house and had no male figure to look up to. His dad told me that he wouldn't be around much and boy was he right. I have been working hard to help Angel get threw this but I know that he will be happier when his school days are done.

Stacia is a sweet girl who looks like she has a good mix of both her father and I. Stacia and Star's father passed away after being murdered in a bar fight. When I got the news I didn't know how to tell the girls so I took them out for a walk to explain to them that it was exciting to have all these new places around town but not all change is good. They where both sad and wished that they could have met him but Stacia handled it pretty well.

On the other hand Star didn't. She has been quite depressed after loosing her grandpa and now dad she felt as if all the men in her life she loved where dieing. She started to sleep in Angel's room so that she felt safe. Angel was more than happy to share his room with her but they seemed to have different sleeping habits so Star usually fell asleep in my bed. I started to look around for something that could help lift her spirit.

And then sweet Shalom grew to be a toddler. She is so sweet and having a blond in the house is quite odd but I enjoy seeing how different the kids are. She is very excited to get started learning new skills so I felt that having just her home with me during the day would be nice. I would be able to give her all the attention in the world.

Star and Stacia tried hard to get past the pain of loosing their dad and Stacia didn't even let the news bother her and she focused allot of her time trying to keep Star's mind off of things but Star wasn't easily distracted she acted as if she wanted to be happy but couldn't. I then knew that I HAD to do something and quick.

I then saw a news article about a Sims Toddlers and Tiaras that was taking place this month. I got very excited and couldn't wait to tell Star about it.

Aleah went ahead and called Kendel Roberts (The person in charge) and made sure that it was ok to enter her. Kendel was very excited and even added that this was for toddlers and children. She also wanted us to know that boys where welcome too but as of now I only have little girls so that didn't really apply to us but we where all excited to enter both Star and Shalom into the pageant! I remembered back when Emma was in the pageant and how she didn't win but was happy she did it. I knew that the chances again where slim that one of the girls would win but the best part in the photo shoots and of course dressing up.

I needed a tiny break away from all the craziness that was going on right now and so I gave myself a well deserved time out. I then heard Angel freak out. I had no idea what was going on but if the only man in the house was freaking out then it must be serious. I quickly finished and got dressed and then figured I would find out what the big fuss was about.

I really could have stayed in the tub it was just my Lawyer who wanted to stop by to tell me that Mollie had her baby. A little girl Magenta Jane Newbie. I was in shock when he told me her middle name because well it was my middle name. He said that they are both fine and that they where both being released early from the hospital.

This was awesome news and I was happy to hear everything went smooth. Having a baby as a teen had to be hard so I was hoping she would call me for some mom-mom advice but then I started to think this IS Mollie we are talking about.

After he left I knew that I had to get cracking on my challenge and not being pregnant was getting me no where. A man by the name of Christopher Steel had e-mailed me his medical papers and even a recommendation letter from his ex-girl friend. Yes I was shocked too but the reason they broke up was because he was wanting to be a dad but she didn't want to have kids just yet. So the two talked about it and they broke up so that he could take part in my challenge and then they where going to be married. I wanted to laugh but they where both serious. I had no reason to say no so I invited him over and...

Got Pregnant! I couldn't wait and was secretly hoping for a boy.

The next morning I was focused on getting Shalom to walk and I was happy to know that it was going to be the first day of school for both Star and Stacia and I figured that they where going to make lots of new friends and possibly get a tad distracted by all the DRAMA in our lives right now but I was very wrong. After getting everyone dressed I went to the window to see what the weather was like.

My heart jumped into my stomach and I was a nervous wreck. My palms began to sweat and at that moment in time I could have passed out. But some out I managed not to. I just froze thinking I had to be dreaming.

It was an adult Mollie and a toddler Magenta. I moved quickly from the window so I didn't look weird just staring at them. I heard Mollie talking sweetly to Magenta but as I listened her voice got louder and louder. Then the door bell rang and I heard the sweetest words that had ever come out of Mollie's mouth.

Mollie- Magenta look this is Grandma Vi's house can you say I love my grandma Vi?
Magenta-  Gama Vi

I went from being frozen dead in my tracks to FREAKING OUT! I didn't want to say or do something only to have Mollie throw it back at me. Then again she's a young adult now and she's here with Magenta. I had no idea if I would ever get to meet her and now they are BOTH HERE. I tried to breath and act composed and normal when I opened the door.

When I opened the door I couldn't even look at Mollie. The lies she told and the hurtful things she said to and about me where still very much so ingrained in my mind. It was going to take some time for me to heal, but Magenta looked at me and smiled. She is beautiful and had her mom's famous redish/pink eyes and blond hair. Her skin was a darker tone and I had a feeling she got that from her dad.

Mollie- Mom can we talk please, inside.

I nodded my head and lead the way into the house.

Mollie- Mom I've done allot of thinking and you have done a good job raising so many kids. Out of 36 kids you only had one bad seed... me, she said lowering her head, I'm just not cut out for this. I'm working at a bar and can't get good hours and I'm also struggling with keeping food on the table. My boy friend is a loser and all he thinks I'm good for is well...

Tears started to form in her eyes and I knew that I had to stop her from crying. I hated seeing my kids upset and again my sweet daughter Emma came to mind and how Craig was and still is so horrible to her.

Mollie you don't have to say another word I understand that your upset but things will be ok in the end. You think it was easy being a single mom to triplets right away? Do yo think that I've not had bad relationships and hard time too? I know that life isn't perfect and that the light at the end of the tunnel can be so dim that your not even sure if its light or that your just seeing things. Mollie I've not had a perfect life and for you to think that is upsetting to me.

Mollie- I know mom I just... I'm really thinking... Please take Magenta mom. I'm asking you as a daughter and as a person who knows that I'm no good for her. I love her mom and I'm afraid that if she stays where she's at I'm going to loose her to social services or her father will kill her.

She looked over at Magenta and then turned towards me.

Mollie- Mom please give her a great life and love her as much as you loved me.

Without taking to much time to think I gave her an answer. Mollie, of course I will raise Magenta but if you ever change your mind I will give her back with out any questions asked. She's your daughter and I now that you love her deeply. Coming to me must not have been easy so I'm not going to have you explain yourself anymore. The only thing I ask of you is to make sure her dad doesn't know where I live. This family has been threw so much lately I don't need more crazy stuff going on around us.

Mollie- Don't worry mom he wants nothing to do with her. He won't even ask me where she went I'm sure he will just be happy to have me to himself again.

With that said Mollie turned around and just watched Magenta play with Shalom. As a tear fell down her cheek I knew that this was harder on her than she led on for me to believe. She leaned down to Magenta's level...

Mollie- Hey girly are you having fun at Gama Vi's house?
Magenta- Yup, yup mommy
Mollie- Well your going to stay here with Gama Vi
Magenta- mommy come back?
Mollie- Oh sweetie I love you

Love you mommy bye, bye

After seeing that I needed a private moment but in this house your never alone. I then felt my sweet babies first movements and I started to think of having to do what Mollie just did. I knew she was going to be a good mom I just wish that she had made better choices so that she could have Magenta and not worry about anything.

Angel was amazed at how smart Magenta was and even worked with her a little more with talking. She took right to it and started to call him A-man. Angel loved the nickname his niece gave him and he felt it was better than Uncle Angel.

With so much happening all at once I felt the pregnancy slipping right threw my fingers. I wanted to enjoy every moment but with (what felt like) 3 sets of twins and being pregnant you feel like you start to realize you can't be everywhere at once and things do have to happen without you being there or even knowing its happening. Angel grades where still slipping and he couldn't stay focused in school. Aleah was so busy helping me that I felt that she was missing out on the fun things that being a teen has to offer a young Sim these days. Stacia and Star where both such different kids I had to use different parenting styles to make it work. The best part was that Shalom and Magenta where very close in age and where both developing at the same pace. I was happy that the two of them had each other but I still think that Magenta should be able to be with her mom.

Aleah was very kind to always make sure that the kids where read to before bed. They would each pick out a book and she would read each of them the story that they picked. She never complained or acted like it was a problem but I still didn't like the fact she wasn't being able to be a REAL teen.

The next morning I decided to take Shalom's pictures for the pageant and she did great! This pageant only requested everyday and formal where but not swim wear. I loved how her pictures turned out and I hope that she does well but I do have 2 other girls that I also want to see do well too so I'm wishing for all three of the girls BIG good luck wishes.

I got Magenta's photos and thought this would also be something neat to send to Mollie! She really showed off her personality in these photos! She loves getting her picture taken.

And then my ever so beautiful Star who is my only child entering the pageant. Her sister Stacia wasn't to big on it so I figured this would be fine for just Star. She really had fun getting her pictures taken and loved the formal dress that we picked. over all I think I'm very happy with how Shalom, Magenta, and Star's pictures turned out.

I soon forgot that I had not taken many pregnancy pictures during everything that was going on so I quickly had Aleah take a picture of me before the baby decided to come. I was feeling good when I saw Star was smiling again and even was proud of herself. Angel was now getting a C in school, and both Magenta and Shalom where walking, talking, and using the potty like big girls. I really started to see that things where going to be ok. Money was tight yet again but I knew that with time we would be able to build out savings and that was not going to be very hard. I just had to get working on it.

Star you look beautiful in your dress                                Thank you Stacia that means allot to me

Just as I was getting ready to sleep baby 37 was wanting out! I kept thinking that it would take forever but it really didn't after hardly and hour of contractions I started to feel like the baby was ready to be out...

Everyone please welcome Walala Lee Newbie. She's perfect and even though she's a girl and not a boy I'm very happy to have her!

Thank you to my 3 year old daughter Kimberly for requesting this name!

Here we are! The newest household picture and I made sure to include Magenta because she's part of the household! It seems like we have had a hard time lately but we all still manage to find a way to smile. I started planning something special to help lift all our spirits.

Thank you for reading! Comments are welcome and you can find me on facebook under Violet Newbie but guess what there are two of us so you can add both or just the one that looks like me or photo's that I've taken. Thank you once again to BethanySue for the toddler shoes!
