I love having long hair but remembered back as a teen how short my hair was made me think that a new hair style would be fun. I found a great gal who was new in the business and offered me a FREE hair cut and I couldn't refuse. I told her that I hate my forehead and bangs where a must but I also wanted something hip and fresh because even though I have 43 children I'm still quite young. 

I've never been one to celebrate my birthday and many have come and gone without me taking a second glance but this one was going to be different. I have been threw so much I wanted to make this birthday BEYOND special and couldn't wait to get my friends in on a birthday bash. But I couldn't get ahold of a single on. I figured they all forgot or had there own things going on that MY birthday was just another day. I was sad because the night before today (November 20th) Lala informed me of something...

Mom I know that your not very excited about us kids growing up and moving on earlier than possible but a group of my friends what to go to Bridgeport and start a band. We are call ourselves the Metal Crashers. Its not as bad as it sounds and its an all girl band. Mom PLEASE I want to stay but I've been on the honor roll FOREVER now and the kids all know there skills so you don't need my help. I'm wanting to move on and I need you to respect me as a person PLEASE MOM?

"You understand that Brigeport isn't for wimps I've been there and they mean business." I told Lala not trying to change her mind but wanting her to think this all the way threw.

"Yes mom, we know and we are SO ready and wanting to go PLEASE?" Lala added.

With that said I gave her hug early knowing that she would age up and then move on before I would have much time to blink. 

"THANK YOU MOM!"

Lala looked amazing as a YA and I was stunned at the way her face lite up a dark room. She was going to be the lead guitar player in her band and she was more than ready to get started on things. I was happy that SHE was going to be happy.

I've been working on exploring new things and ideas and thought that I would try out for a new job as a designer. I couldn't wait to do my trial run and I've never done ANYTHING like this before so I had no expectations to try to live up to. 

I got started working on drawing up a pair of boots. I'm not a big fan of boots but maybe I could be? I focused hard on it and felt that I was doing pretty good and was confident in my work.

Not bad for my first time EVER doing this!

When I got home little Dawn and Della where playing in there swim suits at the activity table. I thought that it would be PERFECT to enter into Dawn Turner's twin pageant! I have 3 sets of twins and I'm debating on entering all 3 sets or just 1. I'm excited to see what Lexi and Laura grow up to look like. 

I figured that Della and Dawn wanted to give the sprinkler a second chance so I got ready to take them out but first I wanted to see Lexi and Laura before heading outside. We spent an hour playing and they both giggled and laughed more then I've ever seen two little girls before. I wanted to invite a few of my friends over but NONE of them wanted to hang out. I was sad and when I went to ask why I had a quick See you later girl bye on the other end and a dial tone. I wasn't upset but I was very confused...

~CHALLENGE MOM HOUSEHOLD~

Liz- Violet has GOT to stop calling us. I'm feeling bad telling her that we are to busy for her. 

Nessa- But just think she's going to LOVE her surprise.

Della- I'm sorry girls I'm worried about Jay but I do feel bad that Vi thinks we forgot about her birthday.

Nicki- I'VE GOT AN IDEA!!! I will take her to the spa and get her a facial and massage while you girls get ready.

Ashby, Della, and Dawn all got themselves dolled up to take Violet out for her birthday. Dawn even found a guy named Birthday Bob who wanted to take part in Violet's Challenge AND entertain the group while out. The Challenge mom's where more than ready to get Violet out since this would be Sunset Valley's first dance club.

FIRE!!!! Nicki cried out. All the girls where freaking out trying to figure out what to do. But Della was very clam just like during Violet's delivery to babies 29 and 30 (Donovan and Dannah). Nicki hollered at her, "A little help would be nice Della."

Della then found an extra fire extinguisher and well she "tried" to help, but figuring out how to work the darn thing wasn't as easy as she thought.

Elizabeth was busy too... FLIRTING with the fireman. But who could blame her he was kinda cute!

 Everyone else got ready but Nicki had to change to get Violet to the salon to get her facial and massage.

~VIOLET'S POINT OF VIEW~

"Oh wow Nicki thanks! I was really starting to think everyone was mad at me." I said while walking up to the front doors to the salon. Nicki laughed "Well you know not everyone is big on birthdays you know." I nodded  in agreeance and then we went in for our papering. Nicki kept looking at the clock on the wall but I figured she needed to get back home to her little ones so I didn't think much of it.

"Why are you all dressed up? You must have a hot date or something?" I asked Nicki when getting out of the salon. "No, well kinda I have something to show you ok?" Nicki then got a cab and then we drove off. I looked out the window and didn't recognize the rout to be anything like her house or mine but then again it was dark and we might be going a different way. Is hard to get lost in Sunset Valley.

When the cab stopped we where at an old rustic looking place. Elizabeth, Della, and Alyssa where all standing outside acting as if they where blocking the entrance or something I had a feeling I might have made them mad when I went to say something they just walked away. I felt VERY uneasy and Nicki (while giggling) said, "come on Vi we want to DO something!"

After what Nicki said I was still unsure and VERY nervous. Thinking to myself several things ran threw my head like...

What is this place?

Are they just messing with me?

Why is Nicki so bubbly and the others as cold as ice?

I then realized that standing out in the dark ALONE wasn't very smart so I took a deep breath and figured it couldn't be THAT bad.

I walked in and ALL my friends where here. Decorations in my favorite colors filled the dark space. I couldn't believe it was a SURPRISE BIRTHDAY PARTY! I was in shock when Liz waved at me and said "GET THE B-DAY GIRL A DRINK NICKI!" Nicki waved her hand and then walked me over to the bar.

"Hey handsome I want to order the whole bar a drink AND anything this girl here wants goes on the Challenge Mom's tab. She's the birthday girl and is drinking for FREE tonight." She said letting out a little bit of excitement. I just smiled at the mixoligist and the then winked at me and started getting drinks ready.

The drinks were AMAZING and I was still in a bit of shock that my friends had been planning this all along. The girls handed me my formal dress and then said "GIRL LETS GO!" 

I quickly finished my drink and then started feeling a bit wild. I decided that I would need help getting ready so Alyssa was very sweet in helping me. All the girls where laughing while watching me try to figure out how my dress went on.

 I'm a mother to many and know how to PARTY! The girls LOVED seeing my wild side and Ashby kept taking more and more pictures of me. I had a feeling she was going to throw these back at me when I was sober and going WHAT WAS I THINKING?

I then just let loose because well it was my birthday and I deserved to have a great time.

I got down and then found a guy who I found interesting. His name is Birthday Bob. 

BB- So your the birthday girl right?

I smiled and said YUP!

He then gestured for me to follow him so I did...

He got up on one of the tables and started to take off his clothes. The other challenge mom's where screaming and cheering so loud but I just looked at him in shock.

I laughed off my nervousness and enjoyed the show. I don't think I have ever been so red in the face. I had NO clue that they where going to hire a stripper for my birthday. I soon forgot about how embarrassed I was after a few more drinks. We all threw 1 dollar bills at him him and he finished off his little diddy with the dancing and stripping on the table he then came down and bought me another drink and we started dancing together.

The party was a blast and we ALL enjoyed a few drinks and did things we never thought we would. Della (even though Jay's in the hospital) was still making sure to not be to bummed out at the party. Vanessa kept scoping out the club for the next dad in her challenge. Liz and Alyssa where so funny I couldn't help but laugh all night long.

I've never seen Della do anything like this before but I couldn't wait to take her out again.

There where SO many pictures taken! 
We left at 4:00am 2 hours PAST closing time. The girls invited me over to stay the night since and since Joe was with the kids I felt they where in good hands. I didn't remember to much of the night so I'm glad I have pictures to have for ALWAYS from my 25th birthday.

Liz-Can you believe how DRUNK VI got? (giggles)
Dawn- and you know what Birthday Bob and her did? I bet there will be a 
birthday Bob jr. running around soon.
(more giggles)

Alyssa-Its not like her to sleep in like this should we wake her? 
Nessa- Well she DID have a very interesting night and I don't expect her to
be bouncing off the walls at this time.

I woke up and felt like someone hit me over the head or something. I got myself some brunch and got ready to go home. There was a part of me that felt something was wrong. So I didn't waist much time in getting dressed and home.

Della, Dawn, and Ashby walked me home. They walked in the door and shouted "Hey JOE your girl is here!" I laughed it off and Joe did too.
I still felt like Joe had potential to be in my challenge but knowing he has a girl friend now really dampered things BUT when they break up he will be fair game.

"How where the kids for you?" I asked Joe (Joseph) 

Joe- They where good but I can't seem to find little Dawn anywhere.

Me- hahaha I know she blends in so well with her surroundings but I'm sure the boys where able to help you find her.

Joe- No Vi I thought that your mom might have taken her for an overnight or something but she's not here.

Me- This is crazy she was here before I left.

My phone then rang... Hi Violet this is Grim we need to talk meet me at the graveyard.
3 things I DON'T like to hear...
1) Grim needs to talk to me?
2) We are meeting at the graveyard
3) Dawn is missing and I just got her back

I pulled up and was happy that it was day light but I wasn't sure I was ready to hear what he had to say, but last I knew we where on good terms so I wasn't THAT nervous. I just wanted to figure out what he needed so I could move on.

What's going on Grim?

Grim-I made a deal with you and you fell short SO I had to do what was fair. I took Dawn and you won't be getting her back. You see back when your father died we made a deal that I would be a part of your challenge but here we are SEVERAL babies after and I'm still not a part of your challenge. Dark Angel and I are in SERIOUS trouble with the upper management and had to do this. We aren't happy about it and hope that you understand that we had to follow orders. 

I started to cry. He was right I should have had him in my challenge sooner. I couldn't be to mad at him or Dark Angel they have a job and I messed up. I cried for an hour before heading back home. I had to age up the other kids and I think that I'm going to wait on having more kids for now. I miss Dawn TERRIBLY and I'm not going to count her as baby 41 since she was truly never meant to be.

When I got home I let out a horrible scream. I was so mad at myself and mad that I wasn't here when this all happened. What kind of mom am I?

I picked up little Della and then called the boys into the room. I explained to them what had happened and that Dawn was gone and wasn't coming home.

 Lars and Laytin grew up wonderfully and where sad about their sister Dawn but knew that she was ok and in a better place. They both vowed to get married and have a family because that's one of the most important things in life.

Joe took my hand and told me that everything was going to be ok. I was in so much pain and I couldn't help but be angry at myself for NOT doing what I said I would do. Joe somehow helped me feel better and dried the tears from my eyes. I hugged him and told him that he was a great friend and Penny (his girlfriend) was one lucky woman.

Out of no where my stomach grew. I was a bit surprised and called my friends. When I told them they where laughing SO HARD I though they where going to die from laughter. 

Ashby- OH WOW VI you and BB (Birthday Bob) had a little to much fun the other night.

I then realized that this little one was a gift from Birthday Bob.

Laytin was great running around helping me out with his sisters. I was happy to get a few things done before ageing everyone up. I wrote a note to grim saying that I still wanted him in my challenge and that I wasn't mad at him for what he had to do.

I went out side and wrote a song about how I was feeling and it really helped . I love music and its a great way for me to release turmoil and stress from my life.

I always seem to grow faster when I'm pregnant with a different colored skinned Dad but I didn't mind I was a little excited to meet my little Birthday Bob Baby.

I came into my bedroom and there was Della cross eyed and confused at why she couldn't see. I laughed and told her that she needed glasses. I handed her a pair that I had when I was little and they where what she needed. Della Wriner told me that it was sad that little Della needed glasses so I agreed to allow her to get contacts when she becomes a teenager and BOTH Della's where happy that about that.

Lexi and Laura grew up and I saw WAY more of their dad than I did me (as of now) but they are adorable and I think that she they will be great in the pageant.

It didn't take Lexi long to learn how to walk and that made me very happy.

Laytin was very eager (like his brother) to get BOTH girls walking and talking.

Della was asking me about her twin sister and I told her everything I could possibly remember about Dawn. Remembering her was very important to us and I think talking about it made us both feel better too.

It gave me the idea to start a book titled: Living Violet by: Violet J. Newbie
Its about my life and how I've handled all of the things that have happened in my life the past 25 years.

BEEEEEEEP
The fire alarm went off and by time I got to the kitchen Laytin was there putting out the fire. I was relived and scared. I was worried that something might happen to him but lucky nothing did.

Just then (after replacing the stove) I went into labor!
BIRTHDAY BOB BABY IS ON IT'S WAY

There was NO doubt about it Birthday Bob and I DID woo hoo on my birthday and we now have a sweet baby BOY!

~HAPPY BIRTHDAY~

I thought long and hard and have decided to NOT count Dawn in my challenge. I hope to have another little girl and name her Dawn after her big sister and my good friend Dawn Turner but for now I'm only to baby 43. I will count her as baby 40 along with Della since they where twins. I love my kids dearly and know that the Challenge is going to be full of ups and downs just like loosing sweet Dawn.
